Sunrise, Inc. (株式会社サンライズ), previously known as Nippon Sunrise and Sunrise Studios is a Japanese animation studio notorious for the Kidou Senshi Gundam fanchise. Over the years, many of its intellectual properties have been turned into video games.
Sunrise had a brief stint in the video game publishing business with Sunrise Interactive.
In 2022, Bandai Namco renamed the company as Bandai Namco Filmworks.
