Jogee's Odyssey, frequently misspelled as Jogee's Odyessy, is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive game. Seemingly only being mentioned in Sega of America's New Game Release Information newsletter, it was reportedly planned to be published in the United States by Namco (likely Namco Hometek) in Winter 1991.[2] However, following these mentions, it was never heard of again, and its whereabouts currently remain a mystery.
History
Jogee's Odyssey appears in at least two issues of the New Game Release Information newsletter: June and August 1991. Both mentions are identical with the exception that the earlier issue does not list a publisher,[2] while the latter issue lists Namco.[3] Unfortunately, as the newsletter is often riddled with errors, the possibility exists that assigning Namco as the game's publisher was a mistake.
Informed speculation points to a possible localization of a Namco-licensed adventure game - potentially Fushigi no Umi no Nadia - or a botched working title for Arcus Odyssey, released in October of that year.[4]
