Mono sound playback

Despite a fully-stereo soundtrack existing on the disc, a software bugs forces the game's Redbook audio tracks into mono upon playback. Joe Redifer of Game Sack speculates that, as this issue is shared by a number of other Saturn games, the problem originates from the Saturn development kits which Sega of America initially distributed to third-party developers like Time Warner Interactive.[1]

Sustained engine noise in menus

The game occasionally fails to shut off the engine noise after ending a race, leaving the sound effect playing while navigating the post-race menus.[1]
