Alternative Amazon Falls route
After the first checkpoint on the Amazon Falls track, there is a blocked off road and a stone head on the right hand side. If the player drives behind stone head, it is possible to pass through the barrier and find an alternative route.
While technically a shortcut, the games physics are such that any collision with the wall will knock you back to the original road, so very careful driving is required so as not to lose time. Likewise, despite being a fully modelled and presumably intended route, as this area is classed as off-road by the game, if the player comes to a complete stop, the car will be warped back after a few seconds.
