BRIO AB is a Swedish wooden toy company founded in 1884, and is most famous for their line of wooden trains which have been selling across the continent since the 1950s.
BRIO was a distributor of Sega products in Scandinavia during the 1990s and early 2000s. They began by taking over Swedish distrubtion from Dennis Bergström in 1990, before gaining the rights to distribute products in Finland in 1991, Norway during the mid-1990s and Denmark in 1999. Since this brief stint in the video game industry, the company has returned to producing, marketing and distributing traditional toys.
