Bayonetta: Bloody Fate (ベヨネッタ ブラッディフェイト) is an anime film by Gonzo released on November 23, 2013 to Japanese theaters in a limited release. In 2014 it was released on DVD and Blu-ray. A manga adaption of the film was released in two parts on November 9, 2013 and December 9, 2013 respectively in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine.
The plot of the movie is based on Bayonetta but takes some liberties concerning the plot and settings of the original game.
The film is notable for being the first time Bayonetta has had a Japanese voice as the first game had only spoken English dialogue.
