Truxton, called Tatsujin in Japan, is a 1988 arcade shoot-'em-up developed by Toaplan. It was ported to the Sega Mega Drive and released internationally in 1989 (1990 in Europe). Gidans are invading Borogo and have managed to destroy all but one Borogo fighter ship; you must now man that ship to defeat the Gidans. A and C shoot; B launches a bomb (which appears as an image of a skull taking up the entire screen; you have a limited supply of these). Powerups are found in capsules scattered about each level; shoot at them to open them and access what's inside.
