From Sega Retro
This teeny-tiny article needs some work. You can help us by expanding it.
RenderWare is a 3D graphics API created by Criterion Software. It was used to speed up multi-platform game development, particularly in the early-to-mid 2000s to overcome some of the technical difficulties experienced with the PlayStation 2.
Sega licensed the software for a number of games.
