Pause the game and press +, , +, . You will be greeted with a screen showing developers at Shiny Entertainment, and a debug/options screen. While the options are the same regardless of region, the system details vary depending on the ROM and console being used.

Pause the game and press +, . The game will play the "Cheater! Wheee Doggy!" voice clip if entered correctly, and when unpaused, Jim will have an extra life. This can be performed as many times as you would like.
