Pause the game and press 
(CALL A CAB). Unpause and you will be able to freely move around by holding ++ and moving the d-pad.
Chris Shrigley message
Pause the game and press (BALL BALL) for a message from programmer Chris Shrigley and some orange balls. ++ will reset the game.
Joel Goodsell message
Pause the game and press for a message from lead level designer Joel Goodsell. ++ will reset the game.
