Passwords
Enter these 10-character codes on the options/continue/password screen. For messages, you will have to wait a while for the game to continue, or reset the console.
Sound test
"AAAAAAAAAA" (i.e. don't enter a password).
Animation viewer
"HELLOMOMMY".
Team selection screens
"GENDOESTPO", "GENDOESTP1", and "GENDOESTP2" will take you to the team selection screen for CPU vs. CPU, 1-player mode and 2-player mode, respectively. "DUMBNORERR" also seems to take you to the 2-player mode.
"GEN DOES" could be a reference to the Genesis Does marketing campaign.
"ERR#6 2501 0005BED6" message
"BADCODEAAA" will cause this text to appear in the top left.
"Gerald Robert Klug" message
"GKGKGKGKGK".
"HELPii I have fallen and I cant get up." message
"MSFLETCHER". A reference to an (in)famous 1987 US television advertisement for "LifeCall".
"Ita erat quando hic adventi" message
"DONQUIXOTE". This is probably Latin for "it was that way when I got here", though "adventi" should be "advenci".
"Koo - Koob - A - Choo no you,re notii" message
"IAMAWALRUS", a nod to the 1967 Beatles hit I Am the Walrus, albeit with the wrong lyrics.
"Look ma. theres an airplane in the sky." message
"PHOENIXAAA".
"POWii RIGHT IN THE PUSSSSSS" message
"PAULSHAWAA".
Invalid codes
"NOOFFOUTSS" and "NOABORTING" are also listed internally as passwords but do not appear to do anything.
