Mario Lemieux II Hockey is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive sequel to Mario Lemieux Hockey.
Little is known about Mario Lemieux II. It was advertised (with a screenshot) on the back of some North American Mega Drive (Genesis) console boxes with a release date of Autumn 1994[1] (later receiving a VRC rating of GA[2]), but the game did not materialise for unknown reasons.
There is a possibility the project was cancelled in favour of NHL All-Star Hockey '95 which appeared some months later.
