Saturn version

Clean pause

While paused, press ++ to remove the pause menu. The menu can be reinstated by pressing ++ again.

Unlock all cars and tracks

Ensure an Arcade Racer is plugged into control port 2. Go to either the Saturn or Arcade "key config" screens in their respective options menus, then press +++ START  at the same time on the Arcade Racer. If entered correctly an exhaust sound should briefly play.

This will unlock both the Urban and Boom Town circuits and the three secret cars, the Sega racing proto (press on any car selection screen) the Lancia Delta (highlight the Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti and press ) and the Toyota Celica (highlight the Toyota Supra and press ).

Global Net Events

Three special events occur depending on what the Saturn's internal clock is set to:

• 1997-12-25: Winter Holiday
• 1998-02-13: Hit & Run!
• 1998-03-31: April Fool

Alternatively, entering the options menu on the Saturn side and inputting (with an exhaust noise confirming the correct entry) will unlock all three. Simply highlight the "Global Net Event" option and press:

• HOLD  START  for Winter Holiday
• HOLD  START  for Hit & Run!
• HOLD  START  for April Fool

Winter Holiday

A simple race with a winter theme.

Hit & Run!

Three rounds where the objective is to both set a fast time and knock over as many cones as possible.

April Fool

A two lap race where you drive in the opposite direction of your opponents and try and set the fastest time.
