WOW Sports
From Sega Retro
This teeny-tiny article needs some work. You can help us by expanding it.
WOW Sports (ワウ☆スポーツ) was a portal for J-Sky users which allowed subscribers to download games made by WOW Entertainment and later Sega WOW. This was among the first Sega-related portals for mobile phones, and pre-dates the addition of Java-enabled handsets.
WOW Sports would absorb its sister portal, WOW Ja Park in early 2002. This meant that despite its name, the portal was no longer exclusively populated with sports games.
Following its closure, some games remained on the (then-Vodafone Live!) service as stand-alone applications.
