WOW Sports
From Sega Retro
This teeny-tiny article needs some work. You can help us by expanding it.
WOW Sports (ワウ☆スポーツ) was a portal for J-Sky users which allowed subscribers to download games made by WOW Entertainment and later Sega WOW. This was among the first Sega-related portals for mobile phones, and pre-dates the addition of Java-enabled handsets.
WOW Sports would absorb its sister portal, WOW Ja Park on 3rd June 2002[1]. This meant that despite its name, the portal was no longer exclusively populated with sports games.
Following its closure, some games remained on the (then-Vodafone Live!) service as stand-alone applications.
