Alien Cat 2 was originally developed by Repa Games and released on Steam in June 2020.[2] With the permission of the original developer, the game was ported and later published by PSCD Games for the Sega Mega Drive in October 12, 2020. In July 2021, this game was included in the Indie Heroes Collection 1 for the Evercade.[3]

    Story

Our cat with his beloved goldfish was exploring distant planets and galaxies, when suddenly one of the spacecraft's engines failed, and he crashed on an uncharted planet.

Fortunately, both he and the goldfish survived, but his spacecraft was not in working condition. The explosion attracted curious locals - skeletal monsters with the ability to transform anyone into skeletons too with a single touch.

But the cat managed to grab the aquarium with the fish and jumped through a portal to a safe place, where he had to start assembling a new ship in order to escape the planet. Little did he know that the planet can also copy everything, including himself. If your copy dies, then you will also die.

    Gameplay

Alien Cat 2 is a top-down puzzle game, where you must guide cat and his clones through the maze. The main objective is to collect all spaceship parts and then enter the portal to proceed to the next level. But this is not so easy as it seems because traps is everywhere. So be careful and avoid all mines and stakes traps.

And by the way, look carefully for your clones, because they can get on trap as well. The clones mimic all Cat movement, but they stop if they stuck on the wall. Avoid mines and enemies, and push the buttons to close the stakes traps.

Can you beat all 30 levels of varying difficulty and save the universe?
