Order of the Talon is an unreleased Sega Mega Drive action game compatible with the equally-unreleased Teleplay System. A derivative of the 1982 arcade game Joust, it puts players in the role of a jouster mounted atop a giant chicken, fighting other players in online matches across the country.[1]
History
Order of the Talon, alongside Terran Wars, Build-A-Better Dinosaur, and Battle Storm, was intended as one of four launch titles for the Teleplay System. Ultimately, due to Baton Technologies' financial issues in acquiring an official development license, neither the modem nor any of its 9 planned games were ever released.[2]
