Dark Seed II (ダークシード II) is the sequel to Dark Seed, released in 1995 for Windows PCs. As with the first game, this one was ported to the Sega Saturn exclusively in Japan.

Unreleased versions
An article in Sonic the Comic from december 1994 suggests the Saturn version evolved from a Mega-CD prototype that was considered for a late 1995 release along with I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream and Hunters of the Ralk.
