Terrain clipping
Certain terrain can be momentarily clipped into, briefly sliding the player through its collision in a horizontal line. The game seems to become aware of this, and immediately pushes the player out of the offending terrain. While the details of this bug are unknown, it has been seen while falling from one of Jungle's collapsible branches while playing as Dr. Grant.[1]
Not fixed in any version.
