Toru Yonekawa is a video game programmer at Sega of Japan and a member of Sonic Team. While there is a large gap in known woks between Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games in 2013 and Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 - The Official Video Game 6 years later, a programmer named Toru Yonekawa did work for Bandai Namco Studio on several games in the Tales series within that period[1]. They might be the same person.
