Misplaced is a homebrew puzzle game for the Sega Mega Drive that was developed by Retro Souls and published by Mega Cat Studios in May 2019. In August 2021, this game was included in Mega Cat Studio Collection 2 for the Evercade.[3]
Story
Everyday, Hara wakes up on the same island, floating in the clouds. Everyday is the same, identical to the last - a clam yet unceasing limbo.
But today is the day. Today, Hara will unravel the mystery of the sky world.
Join Hara on his exciting, charming puzzle quest and use the unique Record/ Playback ability to reveal the enigma of the clouds!
Gameplay
The main objective of the game is to collect crystals and placing them on altars to progress to the next level. To collect the crystals that located on unreachable area, the player must use their magical glasses that lets them record their steps. With a press of a button, they can replay the path they just recorded and use it to reach the unreachable area. The player's character can then walk along the path to the new location. While doing this, the player will also need to avoid the enemies and beware of the floor that can fall away.
