Hyperion is Sega Mega LD full motion video rail shooter game developed by HighTech Lab. Japan and published by Taito. Released in Japan in May 1994, it was later brought to the United States the following July.

Gameplay
Hyperion is a rail shooter which puts players in the cockpit of an advanced attack spacecraft flying across three-dimensional spacescapes, where the Control Pad moves a crosshair around the screen to aim the spacecraft's main weaponry at waves of incoming hostile units.
