Asa Delta (lit. Hang Glider) is a sports game, developed by Devworks Game Technology and published by Tec Toy. It was released as a built-in game on several Sega Mega Drive models released in Brazil.
In this game, the player is in a hang glider training course on the desert, where it needs to reach into the landing point without crashing once in the floor. Any trigger button on the Mega Drive Control Pad makes the player go up, while Left and Right on the D button makes the player to go slower or faster. The more close to the center the player lands, more points will be rewarded. Crashing in the floor or a successful landing made outside the landing point gives the player a Game Over instead.
Built-in appearances
- Super Mega Drive 3 71 Super Jogos (2005)
- Master System 3 Collection 112 Super Jogos (2005)
- Master System 3 Collection 120 Super Jogos (2006)
- Mega Drive 3 (2007)
- Mega Drive 3 (2008)
- MD Card Game 2 (2009, as part of a SD card for MD Play)
- Mega Drive 4 (2009)
Although it was featured in certain Sega Master System models, Asa Delta does not have a native Master System version, but rather, these consoles themselves are "hidden Mega Drive" machines[1] and does run Mega Drive ROM images.
