Takara Tomy (タカラトミー) is a Japanese toy company that was formed in 2006 from the merger of Takara and Tomy, serving as the second incarnation of Tomy Company, Ltd. (株式会社タカラトミー). The company sells toys under the latter name internationally while the Takara Tomy name is used for products in Japan and Asian territories.[1]
