Play as Black Knight
Complete the single-player game on any difficulty level with 5 different characters. Black Knight becomes playable in any mode by selecting Garnic with START while holding

. Then hold 
while continuing to hold + until the "Vs" screen appears.
Play as Kaiser Dragon
Complete the single-player game on any difficulty level with all 10 starting characters. Kaiser Dragon becomes playable in any mode by selecting Levie with START while holding +. Then hold while continuing to hold + until the "Vs" screen appears.
English translation
Complete the single-player game on any difficulty level with all 10 starting characters. While a gameplay demo is playing before starting a game, press START while holding +. This changes the game text to English, which affects the title screen and the character endings. The language can be changed back to Japanese by selecting "Exit" from the main menu.
