Flying Nightmares is a flight simulator released for the 3DO by Domark in 1994. It was once also set for release on the Sega Mega-CD at around the same period, but was cancelled for undisclosed reasons. It was based on the home computer game AV8B Harrier Assault[1].
The Mega-CD version of the game was reportedly quite far in development, having been sent out to the video game press for review. Adverts also suggest it got to the stage where it was given cover art in North America.
Curiously a sequel, Flying Nightmares 2 was announced for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation before also being cancelled.
