Probably the first translated covers into Russian were designed by Virt (whose trademarked was registered by Padis/New Game[1]) and the description was created by Great Dragon magazine.

Early design

The first design was sold from 1997/1998 to 1999/2000. At the top is the Mega Drive logo with the name of the console changed to the name of the genre of the game like for exaple Sega Boyevik 16 Битный картридж (Sega Action 16 bit cartridge).

A list of probably most of the released games [1].

Later design

Sticker affixed to some later copies of games

More know and widespread design than the previous one, sold from 1999/2000 to 2002/2003. Beside changes in layout like genre of the game is at the top and 16 Битный картридж sign is under, the most important change is size of the boxes which from now are much smaller then previous desing and official ones. When New Game began translation of Mega Drive games some of them had special sticker on box and different cartridge.
