Onigiri bug
Alex Kidd can collect the onigiri when he's dead.
Not fixed in any version.
Floating scorpion
Break all of the rocks that a scorpion is walking on and it will float in the air, changing direction every frame[1].

Crash in the first water section
Punching in a specific area in the first water section will crash the game.
Not fixed in any version.
Janken Castle skip

When starting Janken Castle, go left to the entrance, and do a sliding crouch into the left of the screen. Keep holding 
, and the screen will scroll into a duplicate of the entrance. By going back and forth between both entrances, the player can skip several rooms and eventually fight Janken at the entrance. If the player attempts to scroll off the left of the duplicate entrance, the game will crash.
