Avalanche Software is an American video game developer. Founded by former Sculptured Software staff, the company was acquired by Disney in 2005, and currently specializes in developing products for that company's various media franchises. It was closed on May 10, 2016 after Disney discontinued development of Disney Infinity. However, the company's assets were purchased by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and re-opened the studio a year later.
