Circus Circus Enterprises, later known as the Mandalay Resort Group was an American hotel and casino operator based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Most known for their eponymous Circus Circus Las Vegas (a circus-themed hotel and theme park), the company partnered with Sega to create both Sega VirtuaLand and Grand Slam Canyon.[1]

History

On August 23, 1993, Sega and Circus Circus Enterprises opened Grand Slam Canyon, an indoor theme park located in a large glass dome connected directly to the Circus Circus Las Vegas hotel.

Sega also assumed management of the Midway, an arcade and entertainment center located inside the hotel proper, updating and renovating the venue with larger arcade machines like the R360.[1]
