Disney Interactive Studios was a division of The Walt Disney Company which produces video games based on the company's franchises. Formed on February 8, 2007 from the consolidation of its previous studios, the publisher-developer was Disney's third foray into video game development. In 2016, DIS winded down its operations as Disney ended development of its Disney Infinity franchise.
