Dominus is a strategy game developed by Visual Concepts and published by U.S. Gold, originally released for IBM PCs in 1994. Conversions to the Sega Mega Drive and SNES were in development around this time and were set to be published by ASCII Entertainment Software in Q1 1994.[1] However, for unknown reasons, both versions were cancelled.
A prototype ROM of the Mega Drive version, dated 1993, has since been unearthed, showing an incomplete game without any sound. Another prototype was found plus dumped by Frank Cifaldi and released on Hidden Palace in December 2024.[2]
