Durand Interstellar, Inc. was an American electronics manufacturing firm established in 1981 and operated by Jerry and Sharon Hurtley-Durand.[2] Specializing in PCB creation and electronics design, it collaborated with the Santa Clara-based game company ASG Technologies on all of its products,[3] as well as providing the PCBs for the unreleased Sega VR headset.[3]

Company

Although the firm used to occasionally work in the realm of video games (mainly in writing consultation, as Sharon Hurtley-Durand is a professional writer),[3] the company retreated from the game industry halfway through the 1990s and returned to electronics manufacturing. In June 2020, Jerry and Sharon sold their home and shut down the American business, moving to Goryachy Klyuch in Russia in the hopes of reviving Durand Interstellar there.[2]
