The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014 (E3 2014).
At E3 2014 Sega was focusing on promoting the new Sonic Boom spin-off series of their Sonic The Hedgehog franchise. However it was the new Alien: Isolation game that gained critics attention, also being available to play on the Oculus Rift VR Headset. It won in Best VR Game category of IGN's Best of E3 2014 Awards and was nominated in a few other categories.
