Enix (エニックス) was a Japanese game studio best known for publishing the Dragon Quest franchise. They are also famous for making Terranigma and the rest of the Soul Blazer series.

Wave Master did audio for Enix's early-2000s PlayStation 2 game Super Galdelic Hour.

History

In the 2000s, the company was suffering from finantial issues due to the heavy focus on the Dragon Quest franchise, shonen manga and lack of creativity freedom.

The company merged with Square in 2003, 2 years after the release of the box office bomb Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within.
