Exerion (エクセリオン) is a arcade shoot-'em-up released by Jaleco in 1983. It was ported to several systems including the SG-1000.
Exerion is a very basic shoot-'em-up, however its main appeal at the time was its parallax backgrounds, whose positions would change depending on the coordinates of the player's ship. Unfortunately, the effects do not transfer well onto the SG-1000, as the scrolling is choppy.
The FIGHTER EX rushes in and out attacking the monstrous enemy groups in the 6 mysterious, different DIMENSIONAL worlds. The enemy is constantly in pursuit of the FIGHTER EX. The fighter's missile attacking the enemy come down like showers of hail. Be on the alert!! The "Dual Beam" allows you to shoot down the enemy, and the "Single Beam", to speedily and continuously attack it. See how successful you are in battling the enemy through the 6 dangerous worlds!
