when powering on the system.
Cheat mode
As the title screen appears, hold + on Control Pad 2. Once the title screen fully appears, release the buttons and press any button on Control Pad 2 to enable cheat mode. A sound test will appear, and the following functions will be enabled during gameplay:
- Press
and 
on the round screen to select a starting round. - Press on Control Pad 2 to skip rounds.
- Press on Control Pad 2 to increase lives, and
on Control Pad 2 to decrease lives.
