Makoto Yonezu (米津 真) is a former artist at Sega of Japan who exclusively worked on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. After working on Sonic Unleashed, he left Sega to work for Nintendo, debuting with Super Mario Galaxy 2 in 2010. He is most notable for his work as lead terrain artist on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild[2]
