Switch order of characters

On the "Vs." screen preceding the match, hold all three punch buttons (by default, , , and when using the standard Dreamcast controller or , , and when using the Dreamcast Arcade Stick). When the fight begins, the player's two characters are switched around, with the secondary character now starting the match. This order is retained in subsequent matches unless the order is switched again.

Choose assist character

After selecting the second character, hold  START  and one of the following button combinations to select a particular assist character.
