Mattel Interactive was a short-lived subsidiary of Mattel.
After purchasing the loss-making The Learning Company in 1998, Mattel found themselves keen to sell both The Learning Company and Mattel Interactive by 2000. Both were purchased by Gores Technology Group which later split up into three units which were later sold to Ubi Soft and Riverdeep.
