- Back to: Ninja Gaiden (Master System).
Mode select
On the title screen, hold 
on Control Pad 1, 
on Control Pad 2, and press 
+
on both Control Pads. The options are as follows:
- Round Number: A level select.
- Player Number: Sets the starting lives, up to a maximum of 9.
- Ninjyutu Mode: Set to FF for infinite ninja power.
- Hit Check: Set to FF for invincibility.
- Sound: A sound test.
- Game Start: Starts the game with the selected settings.
