NatsumeAtari Inc. (ナツメアタリ株式会社) is a Japanese video game developer and publisher. It came into existence after the merger of Natsume Co., Ltd. and its pachinko subsidiary, Atari Inc., in October 2013[1]. The company also operated a development subsidiary headquartered in Osaka, Osaka Natsume.[3]

History
The original Natsume Co., Ltd. (ナツメ株式会社) was founded in October 1987, and mainly focused on developing video games while only publishing a few. It opened an American subsidiary named Natsume Inc. in May 1988;[2] it eventually became independently owned and operated.[4] The Japanese Natsume opened a pachinko subsidiary named Atari Inc. (株式会社アタリ) in October 2002 and it was merged into its parent company in October 2013, forming the current NatsumeAtari.
