Pat Riley Basketball (Master System), known outside the United States as Super Real Basketball[1], is an unreleased Master System port of the original Mega Drive game Super Real Basketball (also known as Pat Riley Basketball). It was announced alongside the redesigned Sega Master System II console, and would have been released alongside it in North America, but was cancelled for unknown reasons.
A prototype version of the game has since been found, suggesting the Master System version would have played similarly to its Mega Drive counterpart, with some features (such as the overhead tip-off view) removed. The game was far enough in development for it to be picked up for review by several gaming magazines at the time.
History
There is currently no evidence to suggest a European version was ever planned.
