Pinball Dreams is a pinball game originally developed for the Amiga by Digital Illusions. It was ported to the Sega Game Gear by Spidersoft and published by GameTek in 1994, exclusively in North America.

Gameplay

Gameplay

It is a video pinball game with three themed tables. The player is given three balls for each game and tries to attain a high score by interacting with the tables in ways such as rolling over lights and hitting targets.

The ball is launched at the beginning of the game by holding, then releasing 2. The left flipper is controlled by pressing any direction on the D-Pad and the right flipper is controlled with 2. The table can be shaken with 1 to nudge the ball. Shaking the table too much leads to a tilt, which renders the flippers inoperable until the ball falls down the drain.

History

Legacy

The game received a sequel, Pinball Dreams 2, exclusively for the PC, in 1995.

Versions

The Game Gear version is missing the "Beat Box" table and downgrades most of the jackpots, leading to lower scores than other versions of the game.
