SIECO, Ltd. (씨에코) was a South Korean video game publisher.

Company

SIECO began publishing games for the MSX and Sega Mega Drive as early as 1991, and two years later began to release a number of Sega Master System games (mostly developed by Open Corp.)[1]

The South Korean epilepsy hysteria of 1993[1] is thought to have been the reason for SIECO's gradual retreat from the video game industry, and in February 1994, two of its three branches were converted into mobile telecommunications stores.[2] Sometime in late 1994, SIECO's properties were acquired by fellow South Korean game publisher Game Line, who then ported its Sega Master System games to the Sega Mega Drive for various unlicensed multicart releases.[1]
