Shadoan is a sequel to Kingdom: The Far Reaches. A Sega Saturn version was planned, rated by the ESRB and advertised, but was cancelled.
Reportedly Malofilm Communications (which purchased publisher ReadySoft in 1996) obtained a seizure order for the Sega Saturn version of Shadoan from the house of programmer Pierre Proulx, meaning the game could not be completed. Virtual Image Productions would later sue Malofilm (then known as Behaviour Communications) for $50 million USD in damages, however the ruling was judged in ReadySoft's favour, as this equipment had been loaned by ReadySoft until the end of 1997.
