Death by Time Over while respawning

Notavailable.svg

When a player respawns after a death, the timer is usually reset. However, if a player respawns on the same frame the timer reaches zero and triggers a Time Over, the respawning player will be immediately killed and unfairly lose a second life.

Jump kicks on a grabbed enemy

SoR MD Bug JumpKickOnGrabbedEnemy.png

In a two-player game, if a player performs a jump kick on an enemy that is being grabbed by the other player, that player will move slowly in the air and deal multiple non-damaging hits during the attack. This can occur with any character.

Quickly defeat Abadede

Use a special attack on the right frame...

...and Abadede spawns with an empty health bar.

If a special attack is used on the same frame that Abadede spawns (before the boss health bar appears), the attack will deal a lot more damage than usual, emptying out his entire health bar. The player(s) can then defeat him in one hit. This bug appears to affect Abadede in particular, and is unknown if it affects other bosses.

Repeatedly defeat Abadede

After Abadede is defeated and the player who knocked him down has scored 5,000 points from him, he is still susceptible to being harmed by a special attack as he is fading away. The player(s) can use their special attacks on him at this point to knock him down again and score an additional 5,000 points.

Bugs when grabbing Abadede

SoR MD Bug VaultOverAbadede.png

If a player grabs Abadede, then presses C to vault on the same frame he breaks free, they will vault over him as he is running. Additionally, in a two-player game, if one player is grabbing Abadede and the other player performs a quick punch on the player grabbing Abadede, that player will still keep their grab on Abadede and can vault over him while he is doing a running punch.

This bug is also known to work with Mr. X, who can also get away from a player's grab.

Stuck in the air by Abadede's grab

Abadede grabs Axel...

...then Adam spawns in and Abadede lets go.

Abadede is now confused.

If, while Abadede is grappling a player, should a second player spawn in by joining the game or after dying, Abadede will let go of the other player from the respawn-induced knockdown, but the player will be stuck floating in the air and be incapable of moving or being hit, though enemies will still attempt to target them. The only way to get out of this is to have the second player finish the round on their own, or have either player use their special attack.
