Roland Sound Space
From Sega Retro
Information dump
I’m not sure how much further you’ve dived into the subject, but I’m aware of at least two titles on Sega CD which used Roland Sound Space or RSS (a similar technology to QSound). Those were Snatcher and Shadow of the Beast 2. A few more LaserActive games did as well. There were several titles on the PC-Engine that used RSS, including Dracula X and Ys IV. RSS was even used on Xenon 2 for the Amiga CDTV and CD32, so it had an interesting run for a moment in the mid 90s. Link
