Tatsunoko Production Co., Ltd. (株式会社タツノコプロ), often shortened to Tatsunoko Pro (タツノコプロ) is a Japanese animation company. In 2005, Takara purchased a majority stake in the company.[2] Takara would later merge with Tomy to form Takara Tomy a year later. In 2013, HoriPro acquired a 13.5% stake in the studio.[3] On January 29, 2014, Nippon TV purchased a 54.3% stake in the studio with Tomy retaining a 20% stake, converting the studio into a subsidiary of NTV.[4]
Over the years its works have been used as a source for video games, though it has never produced video games itself.
