If the difficulty is set to easy, you will only be able to access the first four stages.
Infinite energy
On the title screen, press 
START . The main menu will be skipped if the cheat is entered correctly.
Infinite lives
On the title screen, press START . The main menu will be skipped if the cheat is entered correctly. The life counter will loop to 9 when Fred runs out of lives.
